Description
Reliable and heavy-duty switch used in Gibson SG, Firebird, ES335, Fender Tele Custom, Jazzmaster, Jaguar
Switchcraft™ has been the standard in Gibson® and other great American guitars for decades.
The nickel switch has a short bushing, 5.5mm (7/32″) which is ideal for mounting on a pickguard (Tele Custom/Deluxe) but if used for guitars that the switch mounts through the body (ES335), you will need to purchase a deep knurled round nut found in my shop.
Dimensions:
Switch length: 2″ (50.80mm)
Required mounting hole diameter: 15/32″ (11.78mm), 1/2″ (12.6mm) if recessed nut required
Required body cavity depth: 13/16″ (20.64mm)
Contact Ratings: Fine silver contacts rated at 3A, 300W maximum AC non-inductive load standard
SWITCH TIP NOT INCLUDED!
**NOTE** Switchcraft pre-tins all lugs with solder from the factory making things easier for you to make your connections especially for the switch ground.
Reaming of the receiving hole will be required on Far Eastern imported guitars.
For guitars where the switch mounts through the body you will need a deep threaded round nut. These are also available from East-West Guitars.
