Here’s the right wire to use on Gibson and Fender guitars with vintage-style guitar circuitry. The shielded braid will also provide a good connection to ground for the power cable wires and helping to eliminate hum.

This 22 AWG single conductor shielded wire has an un-tinned seven stranded conductor, white celanese and black waxed cotton insulation, and a tinned braided copper shield. The cloth insulation simply pushes back to expose the center conductor wire.

Cable is supplied as 1 metre offcuts from the 50ft spool pictured and in continuous lengths.
