± 5% tolerance radial lead silver mica capacitor, dipped in epoxy coating. 1000pF = 1nF = 0.001µF

Made with a dielectric made of mica with a silver dip coating, hence the name. If used in guitar or high end audio amps the tone is improved dramatically, it will improve top end and clarity due to their low loss design. Our tip for tone stacks and filters.
